About KYLE O

KYLE O is a singer songwriter from Glasgow who started playing guitar and writing songs in his mid teens and since then, he hasn't stopped... His love of music was clear at a very early age and when he found a joy in playing, writing and singing, he realised then that music was a real passion for him. Some of his early influences were Bob Dylan, Noel Gallagher, Passenger, Jake Bugg and Damien Rice as their mix of indie, introspective folky and country infused songs really resonated with him. He spent a number of years playing 'covers' at pubs and venues around Scotland and learned the craft of performing live during this time. 

Playing his own material has always been the main objective and since 2019, he has performed in many venues both large and small while building a small but very loyal fanbase who love his music. His song lyrics are drawn from personal experiences and those of close friends and embrace subjects that can sometimes be very emotional and raw. They are then married perfectly with both simple and complex melodies, giving the listener a truly wonderful catalogue of songs to enjoy.
